Na cave de um prédio residencial, a rotina diária do guarda do edifício é pontuada pela narrativa da sua viagem desde as altas montanhas do Nepal até ao planalto de Deccan na Índia. Au sous-sol d’un immeuble, la vie quotidienne d’un agent de sécurité est ponctuée par le récit de son voyage, des montagnes du Népal au plateau du Deccan dans la ville de Bangalore en Inde. Set in the basement of an apartment building, the day to day life of a security guard is punctuated by the narrative of his journey from the mountains of Nepal, to the Deccan Plateau of Bangalore city, India.

“One Way” é o retrato de um trabalhador invisível numa qualquer grande cidade, cuja existência está presa entre a vertiginosa transformação do espaço urbano e o paraíso perdido da sua terra natal. “One Way” is a portrait of a person, the invisible worker in any big city, whose inner self is caught between a rapidly transforming urban space, and the lost paradise of his original birthplace. “One Way” est le portrait d’un travailleur invisible dans une grande ville contemporaine, dont l’existence est arrêtée entre la vertigineuse transformation de l’espace urbain et le paradis perdu de sa terre indigène.

Ayisha Abraham estudou pintura na Índia e nos Estados Unidos. Entre 1998-2003, ensinou História de arte, desenho, pintura e arte conceptual na Srishti School of Art Design, Technology, Yelahanka, Bangalore, onde é desde 2003 consultora para as artes visuais. a étudié la peinture en Inde et aux Etats-Unis. Entre 1998 et 2003, elle a enseigné l’histoire de l’art, le dessin, la peinture et l’art conceptuel dans la Srishti School of Art Design Technology de Bangalore, où elle est consultante pour les arts visuels. studied painting in India and the United States. Between 1998-2003, she taught Art History and Visual Culture and since 2003 she is Visual Arts Consultant at Srishti School of Art Design, Technology, Yelahanka, Bangalore.
